7140 Optima Kierland includes 213 rental units spanning up twelve stories. Under construction as part of the second phase of the Optima Kierland Center development, the tower is slated to deliver in 2020.

Design

Optima Kierland is based upon the concept of vertically stacked courtyard houses in conjunction with grand open civic courtyards that are reminiscent of classical era planning. The buildings are designed to float above grade level, allowing for maximum landscaping and open space. More than 5.5 acres of landscaped open space on the ground level create a park-like setting for the community. 

The design provides a highly articulated facade with large recesses, setbacks and bridging terraces creating a rich array of shades and shadows. The courtyards are linked by public pathways and open spaces that encourage walking.

FEATURES

Each tower at Optima Kierland Center features extensive amenity space. 7140 Optima Kierland will feature rooftop amenities rooftop amenities, a signature element of the development, including a rooftop lap pool, spa and outdoor lounge areas, therapeutic spa, steam shower, sauna, outdoor showers, full kitchen with covered bar and flat screen TVs, and fire pits. A negative edge railing design will provide dramatic, uninterrupted views of the McDowell Mountains and cityscape. Additional amenities will include landscaped courtyards with outdoor sculpture gardens, water features, sun decks, barbecue areas and a dog park. A theater room will open to an outdoor party room and lounge area. Unique to 7140 Optima Kierland is the addition of a rooftop running track.

7140 Optima Kierland is being built alongside 7180 Optima Kierland during Phase II of Optima Kierland Center construction. Both towers are slated to deliver in 2020, joining 7120 Optima Kierland and 7160 Optima Kierland in the four-tower community.
